Known best of all for being a member of the Space Spies (led by Noel McGhie) Nouel, a pianist from Martinique, busts through the next dimension riding his Wurlitzer on his first and only solo work. He’s got his band sounding more like some Roy Ayers Ubiquity vibraphone shit and as Kylson, our jazz aficionado and Royal Mail postman says after he bought a copy for him and his mate, it’s ‘one dirty record.’ This is one for the afro-futurists who want to break free.
