BUT WHAT ABOUT THE AFTERNOONS??????
Pat Murano's Decimus dispatches have been coming long and consistently enough that they're possibly in danger of being taken for granted - but not by us, godammit! Fed up of touring, the No Neck helmsman hid out in his garret in upstate NY, and began "playing along with the birds and the crickets" - out of which these thrumming, hallucinatory "ragas" emerged. If I attempted to play along with the birds and the crickets, I can guarantee the results would not be to your liking, but Murano know's what he's doing - oh, does he know what he is doing - and his teeming waves (clouds?) of mutant, jerry-built electronics and distant thudding percussions, though they come at you subtly and unprepossessingly, are ultimately PULVERISING. Listen to this LP to forget who you are, where you are, what you are, why you are. Edition of 100 in silkscreened jackets.
