World Crisis

"World crisis... so many people at risk..." F****ng tell me about it. Fresh press of this raw (roar?), none-more-topical slice of reggae apocalyptica from her royal Lioness, Sister Rasheda, last available in 2006. Released on her own imprint and produced by Dougie and Jerry Lions at Conscious Sound, the music - outstanding - is as grave and careworn as the message, but when the snares hit you feel no pain. On the flip 'Earthquake' is an imperious, Shaka-friendly stepper with exactly the kind of bassline that a track called 'Earthquake' ought to have; run Tena Stelin's dub for maximum plate-shift. "Only the Most High can find the solution...."
